My Bday celebration ~ Bday gift (Hubby)

PD-Port Dickson Trip (20/4/08-21/4/08)

Can you see where is sea or sky??

My Bday celebration ~ Bday gift (Sonnies)

Hand, foot and mouth disease-HFMD

I have no idea at all about the seriousness of this disease and im not sure where my younger son, Mika, picked up this virus. He started on 19/04/08 with some rashes and vesicles on his upper back thigh and buttock that i thot is nappy rash (he get it on and off, thanks to my nanny) and 2 ulcers on his tongue. I already suspected after hubby told me bout the ulcer but he seems normal except cry whenever he eat. No fever, no crankies, no discomfort. I did ask hubby should we cancel our trip (we planned a trip to PD (Port Dickson) on the next day.) but hubby said we can bring him to see doc should he developed fever there. So, the plan go on lor.

Somehow, Mika got realy cranked up the next day afternoon while we on the way. He refuse to eat and drink little water. That was day time and bed time was a nightmare, my nightmare!!

The whole nite, he keeps on waking up crying non stop, wants to suck his teat teat but it hurts his mouth more for doing so, plus he drools non stop and ends up me whole night didnt sleep.

This is just beginning of story leh, after back to KL, Daniel got infected. His case is more severe as he is prone to the mouth ulcer like his father (good genes :P) and the blister in his mouth seems more larger than Mika's. He refuse everything in total. He acted like 'kungfu fighting' during his sleeps and talks alien language!! (I couldnt understand!!)and drools non stop too!! It had been total 9days of disasters. Luckily, I fed them with E.Excel products which is why both them didnt developed fever i believed! *Phew* but my wallet very 'slim' liao!! Miao tiao!!

Here, i want share some info on this HFMD from experience i learned from my kids:

1) HFDM caused by coxsackie virus, which is why some ppl called it coxsackie disease. It usually attack kids compare to adults.

2) Ulcers/blisters in mouth and tongue. Rashes/vesicles developed on NOT JUST palms and soles, but thigh (front or back), buttocks and arms. Some of it might looks like chickenpox but does not itch.

Mouth/tongue ulcers.

Rashes and red spot on sole

3) Decreased of appetite for solid foods. May developed sore throat and fever.

4) Most probably will drools non stops, so prepared your nappy! (No, hankie wont help much) Just wrap around their neck like bibs. (Mika wet 6-7nappies per day)

5) Wash hand frequently (both adults and kids)to minimise and avoid virus spreads . Plus Dont bring your kids to kindies/school/childcare as this virus is consider highly contagious!!

Let's hope my kids will recover within these 2days. Daniel keeps complaining he misses his school friends and teacher. I missed the session where we chat and he recites rhyme and songs he learned at school during our bed time.

GET WELL SOON, SONNIES!!

MOMMY AND DADDY LOVE YOU BOTH VERY MUCH!!

Hit and run

Hit and run.

I guess, this tag is no longer unfamiliar to folks living in city like me. I witnessed 2 hit and run cases myself 2days in a row. How bad!! It seems ppls nowadays are heartless and mindless. What are you thinking right after you hit and just fled the scene?? Have you consider the different outcome if you could just stay and admit it, be responsible and face the consequence, just as you brave enough to conduct your wrongdoing/stupidity/clumsiness?? Have you ever felt guilty as other ppls have to bear gruesome effects due to you misconduct??

1st case :-

Venue : Carrefour Kepong
Date : 26/04/08

Walked out from entrance of Carrefour with our kids in 2 trolleys and trying to locate our car. Suddenly hear aloud 'bang' and i turned to my right handside. I could see from far an old and shoddy car's front facing a parked blue Wira's back. I was not sure by then that that shoddy car hit the blue Wira, as I seen before in other case, a car bumped itself onto a pillar during reversing. Then, the shoddy car just drive away and i managed to glance at the driver which happen to be an old and grumpy ( i assumed from his looks*keke*) man with his wife at his side. They looks so relax and unaffected that I thot at that moment, it might be they just bumped on their own car.
But then, when i browsing along the lane in car, my hubby said to me : "U see, they knocked other ppl car and just drive away pretending nothing happen." I said : "Poor Wira"
Can you imagine when you walk out of the shopping mall and discover your car has been knocked on a big hole on ur bumper and you dont have a slightest idea who is the evil."

2nd case :
Venue : After roundabout from Maxvalue, Desa Park City.
Date : 27/04/08

We brought out kids to shopping (again!! but actually is just let them run lose after being 'locked' in house for whole day). On the way back home, we headed straight and noticed the traffic started going slow. When we almost reaching the cause of slow traffic, hubby said : "It seems got accident ler."
Then we saw a 4wheel parked near divider with a car following the opposite lane. Sometimes, its really annoying with those busynobody slowing down their car just to '8' (busybody) and see what had happened.

Next what come to my sight was a woman ( most likely chinese) laid straight and motionless on the divider. Oh my God!!

I guess we cant do much as we have 2young kids with us. So we just continued our driving and i heard siren wails as i started unpack the items we bought home.

So, what is moral of the story??

1st) If you happened to knock ppl car accidentally and the owner is no where to be seen, why dont you just leave your contact no. and slipped it on the wiper?? At least, be a real man and admit your own fault!!

2nd) When involved human life im sure no body wont felt bad. Have it cross your mind that if, you stopped and take courage and give out whatever help/assisstance needed, they could survive??

3rd) For those busybody : Pls lar, if you not willing to help then keep up ur pace and drive la, dont slow down cars behind you. Somemore form up the traffic which make it harder for rescuer to reach victim. You accomplice!!!

So many things to handle these few weeks, 1st is Kelly's box filled with her personal belonging to send over to Shinjuku by DHL. So many problems with their customer service, never give clear instruction on what can be courier and which not supposed to board.

Luckily, Kelly said she received her box safe and sound yesterday.

2nd will be Kelly's house rental. So many 'siau' peoples called up. One said just need to rent 1bed room, some asking permission to install air-cond unit, some ask me to help them to find them bedroom, even those house agent called up offering me their service. What the heck!!

Daniel's 1st time ~to cinema~

Last Friday, hubby and me went nanny house fetching our cuties as usual. Upon reaching nanny's, Daniel move swiftly towards us and put his finger on his lips, telling us not to make noise. He said " Dont make noise ar, Mika ooi ooi redi." I said to nanny "Oohh, Ooi ooi again kah? Later home dont want to go bed like last week leh, played until 12am!" and then my nanny said something that i felt most instantly, makes her an angel :P She said "Let Mika stay overnite here." *relief * "Ok" i replied with broad grinned. *Yay yay*

So we went to shopping at the nearest Jusco (Metro Prima), at first my intention was to buy stamps but ended watching movies.

My lil heart breaker !
Doesnt know he can pose soooo naturally.. like mother like son :P

Hubby and me wanted so badly to watch that Lao Shi Jia Lao Da (Ah Long Pte Ltd) but noticed it was rated 18PL. My hubby asked me what does the PL mean. I said "It doesnt matter la, our son is not allowed goin in there anyway." So left us only either Nim's World or The Water Dragon.. We took The Water Dragon..ehhh actualy is Horse, dont know why i kept on saying Water Dragon.. *keke*

Daniel seems not interested in the movie, he was more into :

1st. my popcorn and soda
2nd. wee wee (i guess at least 5-6times thru out the movie)
3rd. His new Nintendo game boy. (That's another story to tell)

Heart breaker tat sucks teat teat!! Notice his eyes lashes??
Envious?? I do!! *:P*

That show was so so...as expected la.... but Daniel seems quite happy with this experience.

Tips : I am not going to bring kids along for movie in future.

Bonus : I saw Jack Neo and Lee Guo Huang plus other local artistes at the cinema. They are promoting that Ah Long movie. KK Wong is kinda short :P

Dun play play with our police... realy 'sui' - Part 2

Upon reaching home, my hubby asked me : 'BB ar, u drive very fast mey??".
I frowned and reply : " I drive like a tortoise crawl, my car always the last whenever i look at the rear mirror, always no car behind me, Why ler??"
"I received a summon today for your car, somewhere near 6.5km K.L." he replied. (He seldom drive my car unless necessary)
"Where's that place? It couldnt be me since I only drive around home-kindy-office, if i go outside (town) i sure kena honk till i glued to the brick wall. It couldnt be me." He grinned.

That summon cost him RM100

But then....

Thank you, Ms Jane Doe

The first thing I promised myself when I resume my blog is to express my gratitude toward a lady whose I regretly dont know her name and sadly, she already passed away.*sorrow*

I 'known' her (through my nanny but never meet her) and have little information about her except she was staying in the same building block as my nanny and she's married with 2 schooling kids.

You will wonder, "Why this poor Ms Jane Doe's death(whom I didnt even meet for once) took so much of concern?

This is because, she is (was) my sonnies's hairstylist for almost 2yrs *guilty* and never accept a single cent for her services. Too late now, I dont even have a chance to say a 'Thank you' to her.

All I can do now, is to pray and may God bless her in that new world she is in.

May she rest in peace.

(Ms Jane Doe died of dengue after struggled for a week while her husband survive as both of them admitted together into hospital)
